About the Opportunity
Our services are uniquely shaped for each of our customers based on who they are, what their goals are, what they need to achieve them and when they need that support. Given this, we need support workers who equally enjoy the flexibility in the services they will conduct. 

We are seeking experienced support workers to assist our customers with the following services:

• PEG feeding
• Complex bowel care
• Catheter care
• Personal care
• Social and community access

About the Role

Enhanced Lifestyles are looking for experienced disability support workers to assist a non-verbal customer, located in Ingle Farm. The successful candidate will be provided full training shifts to assist with providing customer specific supports.

Available shifts for the successful candidate are as follows:

• Sunday fortnightly (Week 1): 8:30am-12:00pm
• Tuesday fortnightly (Week 1): 10:00am-4:30pm
• Friday fortnightly (Week 1): 8:30am-4:30pm
• Saturday fortnightly (Week 2): 10:00am-4:30pm

Skills & experience

• Current South Australian Working with Children Check (Working)
• Current NDIS Workers Screening Check (Working)
• Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support, or similar qualification (desirable) 
• Current First Aid certificate (completed in the last 3 years)
• Current CPR certificate (completed in the last 12 months)
• Current Manual Handling certificate (completed in the last 12 months)
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module
• NDIS Supporting Safe Meals Training Module
• NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
• Experience working with non-verbal customers (desirable) 
• Experience and or training in the following supports (desirable)
  • PEG feeding
  • Complex bowel care
  • Catheter care

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance, and willing to transport customers for community participation 
• Evidence of the right to work within Australia
• Customers requesting female support workers
