Position Details

• Location
  • Brahma Lodge

• Shifts currently available:
  

  • Monday 1:00pm – 5:30pm

  • Tuesday 12:30pm – 3:30pm

  • Wednesday 12:45pm – 5:15pm

  • Thursday 12:00pm – 3:00pm

  • Friday 12:00pm – 4:30pm

  • Shift duration, based on customers’ needs and funding, average shift times range from 2 hours to 4 hours

• Key responsibilities: 
  • Community access and transport
  • Social supports
  • Personal care
  • Domestic duties 
  • Assisting customers with meal planning, preparation and cooking
  • Supporting a customer in the same environment as their pet - for example, shifts will include walking the dog or taking them to the dog park

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support, or similar qualification (desirable) 
• Current First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling certificates
• NDIS Worker Check and South Australian Working with Children Check
• NDIS Online Modules

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance, and willing to transport customers for community participation 
• Evidence of the right to work within Australia
